Are We Really Giving Our Best?

Hello people. I was learning something and something hit me hard.  and of course i'll tell you When we were kids, we used to learn English alphabets, addition, learn tables, social studies stuff and just so many things. And we used to do it so damn well.  But, when we reach college, why do we become less of a student? Why is our school version better than who we become at college, in terms of studying? Does our cramming ability deteriorates with age? illogical and not everyone crams up answers Do we all lose interest in studies after school? nope Do we all   become too interested in our social lives? don't think so 'cause most of us are becoming introverts Is it because our teachers don't pay attention to us as much as they used to, in school? um, arguable but sounds more of an excuse What happens to us after school? Why the best exams of our lives were taken by us in school time? Why can't we sit with books for as long as we used to? Why watching lectures gets rep...

Do You Believe In Their Appreciation?

Helloooooo, people. You know? I read one of my write-ups just now and damn.  oops, from the start Actually, I was having this one word conversation with a friend with whom I'm used to these wonderful conversations. At a point, I just wanted to say something to cheer him up. I didn't have anything to "say" exactly because I already knew what he would say and I wouldn't be able to debate because apparently, I agree already.  that's the thing with the people you know; you know their whole situation and you know where you both are stuck in a conversation; you say this, they say that and it all comes down to that one point where you started from So, I knew that nothing I say would really be effective right now. Afterall, there are conversations which you save for later, to get done on call and not over chat. And at this point, where the one word conversation was going to turn into complete silence -- which would suck for both of us -- I asked him if he wants to go ...

Have You Ever Lost An Image?

Have you come across those memes where it says, "you think breakup hurts? ever experienced hair fall?" or maybe the kind "you think breakup hurts? ever watched your best friend hanging out more with others?" This is what I wanted to remind you first today because I've a version of my own for this. Spoiler Alert: It's not a meme, so not going to be funny. You think breakup hurts? Ever experienced losing your ideal? Oh, sorry. Hello, there. I just wanted to pour things out of this vessel (yes yes heart) so bad right now that, I just started without a Hello. So, Hello.  Losing an ideal isn't a single moment just like losing some other bond. It's a journey. It starts at a point where you both are unaware. When one of you knows, that's not the actual starting point, it's that point that got noticed first. We all have someone in our mind that we know are good. A good person. Good in this particular thing. Has good point of view. Good this. Good tha...

So What It's The New Year?

HELLOOOOO, PEOPLE See the excitement? After all, it's a new year.  *raises my hands and shouts Yayyyy* *sits down calmly* *rubs my palms together* Okay now let's get back to being real. It's a new year, people.  We all got through 2021 anyhow and here the next one comes too. So what's the plan? New resolutions? New beginnings?  I really would have said about all that but know what? chuck it So what it's a new year? it's still the same as yesterday. My heart still feels the same things as it was feeling yesterday and it's not any better than yesterday, or maybe it is, or maybe it's just the same and let's not say that today is even worse. So what it's the new year? it's still the same old life.  In the pile of mistakes, writing 2021 and then overwriting 2 over that 1 is gonna be another mistake for a few days or weeks, depends. So what it's the new year? it's still the same me with the same damn heart. So let's not put a paper cov...

Is It Okay To Feel This?

"Romeo save me, they're trying to tell me how to feel" ~Taylor Swift, Love Story I saw that written on an Instagram post -- yes, I've listened the song too -- and all I had in my mind after reading that was what I wrote in comments. My comment was:- are we really trying to get saved from people telling us how to feel or is it.. we crave to get saved from our own selves for we might unintentionally start feeling the way they want us to? You know, there's a lot wrong going on in this world. We don't feel every single wrong thing in the world every single day but few wrong things hit us more frequently than rest of the other wrong ones.  An unprivileged girl might feel patriarchy a lot -- that is, if she's privileged enough to know atleast about patriarchy -- a labour might feel the expense things a lot more than others, old people might feel the lack of culture and manners maybe, LGBTQ+ people might feel the wrong they've against them in the world and co...

What Matters To You The Most?

Hello, people. okay, no, wait, lemme do it again Helloooooooo, people. better Straight to the point today: I have a question.  nothing new, right? can't help it; i've so many The question is: how do some stories -- be it in movies or books or anywhere -- feel slow and few feel so interesting and attractive in just five minutes? How do you know reading the first page of a book or watching trailer of a movie that you want to know more about the story? And, now, I KNOW I said I have 'a' question but can't help it. Here's another one too:- While you're in the middle of a story -- reading or watching -- you sometimes feel that it's going very slow, don't you? if something interesting is going on, you don't care about speed, you're immersed in the story and not how it's narrated to you What's the difference between these types?  One in which you feel it's slow, another you don't question on. One which pulls you into the story, anoth...

Very Mature Or Not Insecure Enough?

Hello, people. Before starting today I want to express something so I'll just be done with that, first, yes? I miss someone and it's paining. And just so I could feel that I really spoke it out, I am actually converting my voice to texts and I don't know if I should be thankful or sad that the emotion in my voice isn't getting coated over my texts. These texts look just as any other texts would. Well the technology isn't really updated and I feel it's working for me right now because I wouldn't want you to know that I am almost crying. Missing someone too much isn't a desirable feeling, really.  especially when you've already had your last conversation with them; the very last So let's get started today. wait, i didn't plan to speak that out, gawd I thought I would say that I miss someone and will continue with the topic I had in my mind but now that I've said more than I intended to, I guess I'll just choose a different topic which h...
