The Girl I Was Back Then

Hellooooo, people. Hope you’re doing okay. If you’re doing great, all credits to you. If you’re not, all credits to the situation.  hehe, i smiled, did you? I’d been overwhelmed for so long that I kept wanting to unwind my heart here but have you ever tried picking up a bucket brim-full of water and taking it from one place to another without making ripples in the water? When you’re filled up with different emotions, it’s hard to point one out without stirring the other ones. Sometimes, writing it down to talk to all of you instead of actually talking to someone in person feels easier. If this is hard for you to imagine why would this be easier, consider yourself luckier than a lot of people, ‘cause mahn! It’s really getting difficult to find people who actually get it. it? i mean, anything and everything nobody gets nothing around me Yes, I’m grateful for the people who love me enough to see I’m hurting even if they don’t know why. Am I really asking for too much if all I want is ...

My Vulnerable Heart Is Screaming

“I believe in poems as I do in haunted houses. We say, someone must have died here.” ~Rosa Alcalá Hellooooo, people. I was determined to write a write-up which would be the conclusions of how to deal when things you don't deserve happen to you. I even had those things in my head so ready. I hadn't figured the words I'll speak in but I remember being glad about having something positive to write instead of expressing the grief I was in. I thought I was doing okay now. But guess what? Not only I have realized that I never really got the positive words in my head – it was a fleeting moment of clarity – but I also realised that the grief I thought would fade, is actually much deeper than I myself realize. If you feel alright when you're alone but get uneasy around the people who hurt you, then you're not really alright. And, when people who hurt you are the people who you've not chosen yourself, being alright gets even harder because you cannot really “take your t...

Is It Really The Part Of A Bullet?

Hellooooo, people. It's been a lil' longer than I thought it'd take to write. Sometimes, things don't go as you think they would. okay okay, most of the time And, sometimes, you just can't take your mind off particular things. Recently, I'd given an interview and I had mentioned there about me writing blogs. At some point of time, they asked me about my blogs. When I was done introducing it, they went like, "Tell us more." And that was the moment I framed my intention of writing into words. Do you see that line just below Unwinding Heart? "A process to sort myself out publically and yet in the most intimate way." That has been the only description I've thought of, ever. When I answered in the interview, I realised that the purpose has slightly moved from sorting myself to giving people different points of view on topics. But recently, I've not been my best at the consistency of my blogs. And that's because the process of sorting m...

Doesn't Your Heart Need To Breathe?

Hellooooo, people. "You don't ask people with knives in their stomachs what would make them happy; happiness is no longer the point. It's all about survival; it's all about whether you pull the knife out and bleed to death or keep it in." ~Nick Hornby This quote, gawd! I've got a lot to say today so put out a strong quote which conveys some of my feelings already. In one of my write-ups exactly an year ago, I wrote about how our hearts are covered with blankets under which we've got a lot of things buried. I mentioned a quote saying how there's always something unspoken between two people and I had stated under it, that, it's not just between people; but between us and our hearts too. Today's write-up is going to be about uncovering the blankets, even if it's a thin layer. In that write-up, I mentioned I'm gonna go gather some courage to do that and after exactly an year, I'm here to tell you that I did gather it. I did pick up a co...

Anniversaries Might Not Be What You Think

Hellooooo, people. shower of balloons Happy One Year Anniversary of the blogs at Unwinding Heart. yayyyyy Today is the date I posted the first blog last year. OMG, the whole year, I've done this. I've been consistent in writing. Woah. except for these last two/three weeks One year, people. O. N. E. One! shower of colorful glittery paper pieces Today, we're going to talk about- drum-rolls , please? Anniversaries. Anniversary is the word that stirs so many feelings in us. The moment you say anniversary, the next thing you're curious about is the timeline. how many years has it been?  is it third? oh, fourth? omg, has it been twenty years already? wait, one year? is it, really? When you read anniversary, you think of birthdays, wedding anniversaries, opening of a new business and so on. Let me tell you what I get in my mind when I read anniversary. The first time someone said I Love You. Death anniversary. The first time someone was kissed. The moment someone had an accide...

After All, Life Is Fair Or Unfair?

Hellooooo, people. Today’s topic is difficult. Difficult is an understatement; it’s heart-wrenching. First of all, I've got a complaint to whoever makes decisions for all of us, who has the control of things for which we say "it wasn’t in our hands", who decides who lives & who dies and to whoever is responsible for what wasn’t supposed to happen; not to that specific person. My complaint can be summed up in just one question: Why is it so unfair? All of this? To the person who asked me to write upon this: here, i put your exact words you said when you asked me to write upon this topic; ‘cause these texts were so full of feelings that it rang my heart the way a hammer rings a bell. The echoes of your words are still surrounding me and the feelings in your words reached me.   A lot of people might feel that nobody can understand what they’re feeling when they hear about someone’s death. To all those people, I do. I feel you all. I’m an empath to an extreme level, of c...

Is It Love Or Attachment?

"Maybe the problem with love these days is that someone says they love you, and you just wonder how long for." ~ J.L. Johnson Hellooooo, people.  I especially collected a few quotes for this write-up today. Because  gawd  today's topic is the question that has hit all of us at some point and quotes misguide you if you don't get them well. Not just quotes, any words can create chaos inside you if you don't understand them; be it the words of authors, your lover, your enemy or even a stranger. Haven't we all asked or been asked these questions? Is It Love? Or Just An Infatuation? An Attachment? Or The Beginning Of Meeting Your Soulmate? Before answering, let's just talk about why do we even question this? Why can't we just be in that love or attraction or whatever it is? Because experiences, darling. You don't want to get hurt. You just want to be cautious about where are you giving your time and if it's right to prioritize them over the things w...

It Wasn't Mine Yet It Hurts

I really wanna start this with the F word -- the one rhymes with duck? -- because, ugh.  Lemme tell you. I was writing something – a write-up , okay? At a different place than I usually write at. Why? Well, that was the topic I was about to speak on. But. F.  That draft is gone. I hadn’t written it full. And there were a lot of chances that I wouldn’t have continued it. I was having second thoughts on posting it because it got left in middle and I, unfortunately, look for perfectionism and show you only those write-ups which I wrote without any distractions.  Even though, I wouldn’t have completed it, I’m so pissed at it being gone. It’s not like I would continue it if I get it back but. Why. Did. It. Have. To. GO. AWAY?  *takes a deep breath*  *exhales*  Okay, Hello, people.  Wait, no.  *takes a deep breath again*  *exhales*  Yes, now ready. Hellooooo, people.  I haven’t been writing for sometime but still managing to keep up with ...

Ain't You Such A Library?

Helloooooo, people. I just read all the comments of my blogs. The way you love my write-ups. i do read them at the same moment you post, i just checked all of them in one go right now I noticed that you loved the posts the most where I typed out a theory of mine. I remember being nervous about it. I remember questioning myself: would people even want to know how I see things? You all are such darlings. blows a flying kiss hey, catch I remember being worried about if it would even make sense to you and if you'd be able to understand it the way I do. But you all did and appreciated me so much on the theory as well as my writing. So, I've decided to tell you another theory of mine. Starting from scratch. Google says, theory is "an idea used to account for a situation or justify a course of action". It's originated from my mind. If you find an error in my theory, do let me know. If you agree, ain't you such a darling? Previous theory was about how I think writers ...
